Alternatives to laser cutting
The table below (click to open in a new window) lists commonly laser cut materials and easily available cutting tools and indicates which tool is best matched to cutting which material.
When cutting straight lines always use a metal ruler, safety ruler or metal straight edge. Cut on an appropriate surface like a cutting matt or wooden dartboard. Please also refer to the "safe use of cutting tools" PDF before beginning.
